Arietta was founded in 2001 by a group of dedicated musicians who did not want to give up singing during the State College Choral Society summer hiatus. Arietta is best known for their rich “womanly” sound, extraordinary musicianship, and ability and willingness to take on challenging and unique repertoire of all styles, ages, cultures and languages. As the official outreach ensemble of the State College Choral Society, Arietta is available for regular concerts, community and private functions. Membership in Arietta is by invitation or audition. |
